As Liverpool fans eagerly await the second half of the 2023/24 season, an unexpected leak has provided an early glimpse into what could be the club's much-anticipated away kit for the 2024/25 campaign.

A video shared by @JoshLFC1909 on X has surfaced online, seemingly showing the unboxing of Liverpool's next away shirt which, at first glance, looks to be black. However, that's not the case.

The design, using "a dark anthracite base", features teal and off-white accents on the end of the sleeves and down the sides of the shirt.

The leaked footage aligns with prior predictions from the reliable Footy Headlines.

Anfield Watch has also been able to confirm that the shirt in the video is indeed the design for the upcoming away kit.

All three shirts leaked

So with that, we now have an idea of how all three kits for next season will look.

As we've seen, the away kit will be almost black. Parallels between the new shirt and the side's third kit for 2019/20 season, produced by New Balance, are already being drawn by fans who have seen this latest leak.

That season, teal was brought heavily into focus across much of the training range, too, in homage to the famous Liver birds of the same colour, which sit atop the Royal Liver Building near the city's Albert Dock.

That said, Liverpool's home kit for the upcoming season is the most unique, with a distinctive yellow-striped pattern reminiscent of the iconic title-winning 2019/20 kit and the shirt worn during the memorable 1984 European Cup triumph. Notably, the pinstripe effect is said to incorporate an all-over 'YNWA' (You'll Never Walk Alone) motif.

The collar, in red, white and yellow, appears to pay tribute to the popular 2013/14 home shirt, which witnessed Liverpool's dramatic title challenge. The underarm patches also draw parallels with the Reebok kit worn during the Reds' 2005 Champions League victory.

Meanwhile, the third kit, leaked just last week, will be a white/grey kit featuring a vertical Nike swoosh.

Nike's fifth year

Liverpool's collaboration with Nike is set to continue for at least another year, as the partnership extends until 2025.

This will be Nike's fifth year producing Liverpool kits since the groundbreaking deal signed in 2020, which saw the American brand taking over from New Balance.

The latest leaked video has added fuel to the excitement, offering fans an early taste of what might be adorning the players and supporters alike in the 2024/25 season.
