Liverpool FC News: Man City EMBOLDENED by Leicester City PSR win
Manchester City will feel emboldened after Leicester City won its case against the Premier League over alleged PSR breaches.
Leicester City had feared they were going to face points deductions in the Premier League over their legal battle regarding the Premier League's Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR).
However, the Foxes look set to avoid punishment after winning their case against the Premier League.
Leicester were accused of allegedly breaching PSR restrictions over a three year period ending in the 2022/23 campaign. The charge was issued
by the Premier League back in March and Leicester appealed the case.
Now according to The Guardian, an independent legal body has ruled in Leicester's favour judging that the Premier League had no jurisdiction to issue a charge since the club were playing in the Championship at the time.

Manchester City will feel EMBOLDENED by Leicester's legal battle
As per the Manchester Evening News, Liverpool's rivals Manchester City face 115 charges by the Premier League. If found guilty over the alleged charges there are fears the club could be punished as severely as being demoted to England's second tier.
However, having seen Leicester win a legal battle over the Premier League and pick holes in the competition's legislation and successfully prove it while seeing their appeal upheld, MEN reports that City will feel emboldened to be able to do the same.
The club have employed an impressive legal team in order to prove their case and clear the club's name.
There has been no date set for Manchester City's case yet. But Leicester's legal victory will be prove to Liverpool's rivals that they can very well win their case, too, with a successful appeal.
It remains to be seen what the verdict will be.
