Liverpool are increasingly interested in a potential move for Bayern Munich’s attacking midfielder Jamal Musiala, who is also attracting attention from Manchester City, Real Madrid, and Paris Saint-Germain.

While Bayern have expressed their desire to secure Musiala to a new long-term deal, and value him at £150m,  CaughtOffside reports that Liverpool have been placed on high alert as the 21-year-old approaches the final year of his current contract at the Allianz Arena.

Fabrizio Romano, speaking to CaughtOffside, revealed that while Bayern remain confident about extending Musiala’s contract, no agreement has been reached yet, and the process could take time. As a result, it’s not surprising to see other top clubs exploring the possibility of signing the talented young German.

Arne Slot issues No.1 warning

Slot has received plenty of praise during his Liverpool reign so far having overseen a perfect start to the Premier League season, but a huge chunk of the admiration directed towards him is how well he addresses the media - and the way he dealt with being asked about Kelleher's desire for first-team football was undoubtedly no different.

Whilst on international duty with the Republic of Ireland, Kelleher expressed his desires to leave the club in a bid to seek regular first-team football and that the decision to remain at Anfield this season wasn't down to him.

No one can blame the Irishman for wanting to secure a No.1 spot somewhere as whenever he's been called upon for Liverpool, he's demonstrated with aplomb how good he can be. The only problem the Irishman has at Anfield is that the best goalkeeper in the world stands in his way.

The signing of Rio Ngumoha may not be a huge hit in the mainstream media, but it's sent huge shockwaves through the academy community and Edwards is believed to be at the heart of the move.

The chief executive had success with numerous young talents he brought to Anfield as sporting director, whether that's becoming first-team regulars or off-loading them when they're ready for first-team football at hefty prices
