AC Milan and Paris Saint-Germain are both interested in Liverpool winger Luis Diaz, along with Barcelona, according to reports.

Diaz has been the subject of surprising transfer speculation involving Barcelona, following a recent report from a Colombian outlet which claimed that the No. 7's agent met with Barça representatives to discuss a summer deal.

In that story, the Spanish club's president Joan Laporta is said to have baulked at Liverpool's asking price (supposedly between €120m and €140m) for the winger who has 12 goals and three assists in all competitions in 2023/24 to date.

Now according to El País Colombia, two more clubs are keen on Diaz ahead of the summer window: PSG and Milan.

Focussing on PSG, the report claims that French side are admirers of the Colombia international and may look to use the instability of Liverpool's post-Jurgen Klopp transition period to tempt the Reds and Diaz to part ways.

PSG are set for a summer rebuild, with Kylian Mbappe now destined for Real Madrid. Previous reports France have even suggested they could even look at Mo Salah to re-shape their attack.

The Ligue 1 champions' interest in Diaz is backed up RMC's Fabrice Hawkins who claims the winger is on a yet-to-be completed shortlist of options for the Ligue 1 side.

Meanwhile, El Pais add that both Milan and Barça would also be interested in adding Diaz to their attacking lineups this summer given the chance.

Diaz fully focussed on Liverpool

Despite the recent flurry of transfer talk, a move appears unlikely, with reporter Fabrizio Romano assuring Liverpool fans that a switch to Camp Nou, at least, is not 'possible'.

In his Daily Briefing column for CaughtOffside, Romano said: “I want to reassure fans that I’m not hearing anything about Luis Diaz and Barcelona, despite some stories about his agent meeting with Barca.

“Diaz’s full focus is on Liverpool and also I don’t think it’s possible for Barcelona to go and pay the kind of crazy fee that would be required for Diaz.”

Romano did not touch upon the PSG links.

27-year-old Diaz joined Liverpool in January of 2022 from Porto for an initial fee of £37.5m and has made 85 appearances in all competitions. His contract runs until 2027.
