A busy Thursday for Liverpool as a new signing was announced, Liverpool's Champions League opponents in the new format were revealed and more.

Liverpool have confirmed the signing of Federico Chiesa from Juventus on a four-year deal.

The 51-capped Italian joins Arne Slot’s squad and could be available as soon as Sunday, for Liverpool’s clash against Manchester United at Old Trafford.

It was reported earlier this week that Liverpool had agreed a fee in the region of €13 million for the 26-year-old and the deal has now been officially confirmed.
