The 32 year-old's start to the 2024/25 campaign has demonstrated just how important the winger is to Liverpool, with Salah scoring twice and claiming one assist in the Reds' opening two Premier League games.
Nunez banned
Darwin Nunez has been given a five-game international ban alongside four other Uruguay players for their actions in the melee with Colombia fans during the Copa America.
Moments after Uruguay's Copa America semi-final defeat to Colombia, multiple Uruguay players went into the stands to confront Colombian fans who had began brawling in close proximity to the players' families.
Some of the Uruguayan players were seen fighting with the rival fans and later defended their actions as a matter of self-defence and protecting their loved ones from the violence that had broken out.
