Liverpool have been following GIANT midfielder who could be the next Erling Haaland for MONTHS
Liverpool have keeping tabs on a midfielder for the last few months who could follow in Erling Haaland's footsteps in the future.
Liverpool's scouts are always looking at the next big thing to bring to Anfield. The club are renowned for not only scouting the best young prospects in the United Kingdom but also for keeping tabs on the brightest prospects in world football from a young age.
That won't change even under this new regime, with Arne Slot at the helm and Michael Edwards and Richard Hughes working behind the scenes.
Liverpool will be keeping an eye and looking to bring in exciting young prospects, especially as FSG increases its portfolio and buys another football club.

Jens Hjerto-Dahl Liverpool transfer latest
One such player who Liverpool have been following is 18 year old midfielder Jens Hjero-Dahl. HITC has reported that the Reds have been scouting the Norwegian midfielder alongside several other clubs.
Hjerto-Dahl has already made an impressive 44 appearances for Tromso at first-team level and has been one of the brightest young prospects in Norwegian football.
Capable of playing both as a holding midfielder and as a no.8, Hjerto-Dahl stands at a towering height of 1.93 metres, which would make him one of the tallest players in Liverpool's first team squad.
Given his height and the fact that he's another Norwegian teenage prospect, comparisons to Erling Haaland will come naturally - even if he is a midfielder - and he will be hoping to follow in his compatriot's footsteps by playing in the Premier League.
He's full of energy and technical ability and Anfield Watch understands Liverpool's scouts have been keeping an eye on him since December.
Not to mention Liverpool's U18 team even arranged a friendly with Hjerto-Dahl's Tromso U19 team back in the spring of last year, although it's understood the midfielder did not feature in that game.
