Liverpool FC News Recap: Klopp BLAMED, Mac Allister's RESPONSE & Salah's FRESH trim
Jurgen Klopp has been partially blamed by backroom staff for Liverpool's injury issues over the past two seasons.
The Reds have had a woeful injury record over the past few years, including last season in which the likes of Diogo Jota, Joel Matip, Thiago, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Mohamed Salah all missed significant periods.
According to Duncan Castles on the Transfers Podcast, Klopp's decision to remove 'AI-led analysis of players' physical output' irked many of the club's staff, who felt the system was working well.
"I understand that [removing AI-led analysis] caused a fair amount of discontent within the backroom staff at Liverpool because they felt the system would be working well and it got overridden by Klopp." said Castles.

LIVERPOOL URGED TO SIGN ALEXANDER ISAK
Former Liverpool striker Robbie Fowler believes that Alexander Isak would be a fantastic addition to the Reds' squad for the 2024/25 season, comparing the lanky forward to Sadio Mane.
The Newcastle United striker has enjoyed another fruitful campaign on Tyneside, netting 21 times in 30 Premier League matches.
The Swede has been a sensation since rocking up in England and Fowler believes he would help fill the void left by Mane at Anfield.
"Isak, for me, reminds me of Sadio Mane as well. I don’t want to put things in people’s heads, but I think he would be a good fit as well," said Fowler.

MAN CITY'S RELEGATION ODDS SLASHED
The bookies have slashed odds on Man City to be relegated next season as a hearing regarding their alleged 115 breaches of financial regulations draws closer.
Bet365, for instance, currently have City at 25/1 odds to go down. They're remarkably low odds, given both Liverpool and Arsenal are at 2000/1.
Everton and Nottingham Forest both faced points deductions for financial irregularities during the 2023/24 season, and punishment could be significantly worse for Man City if they're found guilty.
Premier League chief Richard Masters has claimed a hearing over their 115 charges will take place in the 'near future', with no date set as of yet.
