Pep Lijnders will become a head coach after this season. That's been confirmed - including his destination. Jurgen Klopp's assistant wanted to embark on that adventure and now he's on it.
And there's more news on potential departures on the playing side. Luis Diaz is consistently linked with a move away now, while Adrian essentially confirmed he'll leave after five years with Liverpool.

Pep Lijnders to join RB Salzburg
Pep Lijnders will join RB Salzburg as their new head coach after leaving Liverpool this summer. He’ll be joined by another leaving Liverpool.
Liverpool have officially announced that Pep Lijnders will join RB Salzburg this summer. The current assistant at Anfield becomes their new head coach as he departs the Reds after 10 years.
Of course, that spell of 10 years was split in two, with Lijnders briefly trying his hand at management in 2018. He returned after just six months, however, and has remained Jurgen Klopp's no.2 ever since.

Diaz wants Barcelona move
Luis Diaz wants to move to Barcelona this summer in order to fulfil a ‘dream’, according to a new report in the Spanish press.
Diaz, 27, has been mentioned in recent reports as a potential Liverpool departure amid uncertainty regarding his future.
The Colombian is under contract at Anfield until 2027 but with question marks over his form it’s been suggested that the Reds might well cash in their chips should a decent bid materialise.
In previous conversations between Barca higher-ups and the representatives of Diaz, it was suggested that Liverpool might seek a fee of between €120 million and €140m for the winger, a price far out of reach for the Catalans.

Adrian to leave Liverpool
Liverpool are set for an overhaul of their goalkeeping department this summer with coaches John Achterberg and Jack Robinson set to depart.
There are question marks over the Reds’ first and second choice goalkeepers meanwhile.
Alisson Becker is now known to be OPEN to a move away from Anfield, with clubs in the Saudi Pro League plotting an ambitious move for the 31-year-old.
Caoimhin Kelleher admits he came close to leaving last summer and also had admirers in the Premier League heading into the transfer window.

Slot doesn't want Feyenoord players
Liverpool are widely expected to announce Arne Slot as the successor to Jurgen Klopp, with the German manager presiding over his final game this weekend.
Anfield will be the setting for Klopp’s swansong, with Wolves visiting in the Premier League on Sunday.
In his place will come Arne Slot, the Feyenoord coach who led his side to an Eredivisie title last season, as well as a KNVB Beker (Dutch cup) this term.
Slot, 45, is also a two-time Dutch manager of the year and comes to Merseyside with a reputation as a purveyor of attractive football throughout his three years in charge of his team.

Klopp takes Anfield in
Jurgen Klopp stands inside the centre circle on the hallowed Anfield turf taking it all in, as he bids a lonesome farewell to the stadium he called home for the past nine years.
The 56-year-old Liverpool manager will preside over his final game in charge of the club this weekend when Wolves visit Merseyside in the final Premier League game of the season.
It promises to be an emotional occasion for all involved with more than 60,000 fans getting their opportunity to say goodbye and thank you to the man who helped restore the glory days to the club.
