Liverpool have contacted the representatives of Crystal Palace winger Eberechi Eze over a potential summer deal with Manchester City and Tottenham also interested. 

That’s according to The Palace Way, which claims the ground is being prepared for potential incomings at Selhurst Park amid interest in Eze and fellow forward Michael Olise.

The Reds could face competition from long-term suitors Manchester City as well as Tottenham, according to the report, with Eze’s form placing him on the radar of the biggest teams in the league.

It's not a foregone conclusion just yet. In fact, Liverpool's pursuit of Lille centre-back Leny Yoro has taken a fresh twist, despite Real Madrid seeming to have the deal all wrapped up.

As reported by Anfield Watch, the Reds remain on standby should the 18-year-old French centre-back's deal with the European champions fall through.

Now, however, Football Insider is reporting that Liverpool are still actively in contact with the player's representatives, despite the Lille defender already informing Real Madrid of his desire to join them - and agreeing personal terms.

Jamie Carragher's X account hacked

Liverpool legend and pundit Jamie Carragher has regained access to his X (formerly Twitter) account after it was hacked during the England match on Tuesday night, causing a mixture of confusion and amusement among his followers.

Carragher's account (@Carra23), boasting 2.2 million followers, was hacked at around 8pm during The Three Lions' Euro 2024 final group-phase match against Slovenia.

The incident saw the account compromised and temporarily renamed @XAiPremium before it began posting unusual content, including cryptocurrency promotions.
