Alexis Mac Allister has used social media to provide a positive update on his fitness.

After scoring in Argentina’s 3-0 win against Chile on Friday, Mac Allister had to come off for tightness in his calf, which had hindered his match preparations earlier in the week.

However, the midfielder broke his silence on Instagram today with a post saying, “Getting ready for what's coming! Vamos!”

John Henry’s Fenway Sports Group (FSG) are in direct talks with the Saudi Arabian Public Investment Fund (PIF) over an agreement between the PGA Tour and LIV Golf.

Having spearheaded the Strategic Sports Group (SSG) consortium alongside other franchise owners, which invested $3billion into the PGA Tour earlier this year, FSG is directly involved in the current negotiations to end the split in international golf, according to Liverpool World.

After Liverpool’s summer transfer window was relatively quiet for incomings after Martin Zubimendi rejected the club's approach, many fans may be wondering what FSG have been doing this summer and why Mohamed Salah continues to be linked with a move to the Saudi Pro League.

Trey Nyoni has been tearing it up with England

Liverpool talent Trey Nyoni is returning to the club this week on the back of a brilliant international break for the teenager.

The Leicester-born midfielder lit up the pitch with some special performances for England's Under-18s, and picked up an award after finishing the Lafarge Foot Avenir tournament as its top scorer.

Nyoni notched in two of his country's three games - against competition winners Portugal and runners-up France - and was rested for the other fixture, versus Switzerland.

The Tottenham Hotspur striker was the latest to be quizzed on their toughest opponent and having played both with and against him at Anfield, Solanke was full of praise in admitting Van Dijk is the best he's had to battle.

The 26 year-old was full of praise for the Dutchman and labelled him as one of the best centre-halves of our time.

Fabrizio Romano has provided an update on Mohamed Salah's future with the Egyptian in the final nine months of his current Liverpool deal.

Salah sparked a lot of reaction after his media blitz following Liverpool's 3-0 victory over rivals Manchester United before the international break, stating the club are yet to talk to their talisman about a contract extension.

Romano has outlined that there's no guarantee the Egyptian stays at Liverpool beyond this season but expects talks to take place regarding a renewal.

Caoimhin Kelleher has AGAIN reiterated his desire to leave Liverpool, this time speaking to the press on international duty with the Republic of Ireland. 

The 25-year-old has been at the club since 2018 and has been the backup to Alisson Becker for almost all of that period, but following his club's move to sign Giorgi Mamardashvili for next season and numerous declined approaches for Kelleher, he felt empowered to voice his frustrations of not having more first-term football.
