One Liverpool loanee has fans raving about him after a ‘brilliant’ moment on Saturday afternoon. Owen Beck is earning all the plaudits.

Owen Beck is at Blackburn Rovers this season and he's started wonderfully. That's certainly how fans see it - they're raving about the player after his efforts on Saturday.

Beck was sensational as Blackburn beat Bristol City 3-0. The left-back created two chances (the most in the game), completed four dribbles (the most in the game) and won four tackles (the most in the game).

And that wasn't all. Beck also had a 'goal-saving' tackle in the second half that directly led to Blackburn's third. That was enough for Rovers' Twitter account to label him 'brilliant'.

But that wasn't all. Fans on Twitter were raving about Beck.

He was called 'absolutely magnificent', one asked Liverpool if they could keep him. A Bristol City fan admitted that the full-back was 'tearing them apart'.

About as good as you could hope for from a left-back in his second game for the club. Beck is set to make waves in the Championship this season - and that could well earn him a place at Anfield.

Owen Beck's future

Beck does have a shot at a place at Liverpool. He's still only 22 and knows full well that he could put pressure on at least the backup spot at Anfield.

But maybe he's going to aim higher than that. Beck had a great spell with Dundee last season - and may well want proper senior football going forward as first-choice for a permanent club.

That's very difficult to earn at Liverpool, especially in the Championship. But if he can keep earning rave reviews like this, Beck will at least earn a shot at a squad place next season.

He's going to be an interesting one to watch - that's for sure.
