Former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand recently interviewed Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson.
The pair of them discussed a range of topics in a 30-minute time slot. During the interview, Ferdinand said to Henderson that he does not get enough credit for the job he does for Liverpool.
The 43-year-old praised the midfielder for his ability to be able to play the ball forward, break the lines and change the dynamic of a match.
As quoted by HITC, Ferdinand said the following to Henderson on BT Sport: “I think that some kids nowadays, it’s all about skills, but you don’t win games without those bits.
"Maybe it’s not fashionable for some people, but it’s needed in a winning team.
