"We need them in full voice on Saturday" - Andy Robertson's message ahead of Spurs

Liverpool left-back Andy Robertson has sent the Anfield faithful a message ahead of Saturday's Premier League clash against Tottenham Hotspur at Anfield.

With four top-flight fixtures to play, the Reds are one-point behind league leaders Manchester City. With that being the case, this weekend's match against Spurs is huge for Liverpool.

Therefore, Robertson wants the Anfield faithful to get right behind the team.

"We never take a packed away section for granted, we never take a packed Anfield for granted. We need them in full voice on Saturday," he told the club's official website, as quoted by Anfield Watch on Twitter.

Robertson added: "We’ve just got to try to keep winning our games and if we do that and if we fall short (of winning the title), at least we know we did all we could. We’ve got four games left – as long as we get 12 points, at least we know we’ve given it our all.

"We need the fans, we need everyone at full voice, we need them to get right behind the team in good moments and tough moments, and we need their support. Their support has been second to none this season."

Anfield Watch Verdict

Tottenham Hotspur are a decent side. They sit in fifth-place in the Premier League table. Spurs also secured a 2-2 draw against Liverpool in North London earlier this season.

So, we are expecting a tough game on Saturday. In saying that, if the Anfield faithful provide a good atmosphere, we could see the Reds running over Tottenham.

Not many opposition sides can deal with Jurgen Klopp's team when the crowd is behind them.

The fixture between Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur will kick-off at 7:45pm BST. We wish the Reds all the best ahead of the match.
