Fulham boss Marco Silva believes his side deserved more than a point against Liverpool at Craven Cottage last weekend.
The Cottagers took the lead through Aleksandar Mitrovic after 32 minutes of play. Darwin Nunez equalised for the Reds early on during the second half.
But, Mitrovic scored again to give Fulham a 2-1 lead heading into the final 15 minutes of play. However, Mohamed Salah ensured that Liverpool left Craven Cottage with a point.
With that being the case, Silva wasn't overly thrilled with the result.
“No, it didn’t feel like a victory. It felt like a draw. But I think we deserved more from the game than a point,” he said, as quoted by the Liverpool Echo.
“Liverpool had more control in the second half but I think that our organisation and our great, great first half – they have the individual quality to create chances – was almost perfect.
“The way we started and the intensity we had was really good and I have to congratulate our fans and our players, it was a great atmosphere.
“We know how Liverpool are aggressive when they attack the space behind and we controlled those moments in the first half. They are not just really good with the ball, they are really aggressive in the right way without the ball and we matched them from the first to the last minute of the game.”

Anfield Watch Verdict
We can see where Silva is coming from. The reality is, Fulham did take the lead twice.
So, Silva is obviously disappointed that his side could not hold on. But, you get what you deserve in football.
Fulham did not defend well enough to secure the three points against Liverpool. Hopefully the Reds can put in a better showing against Crystal Palace at Anfield next Monday night.
Only time will tell if that is to be the case.
