Virgil van Dijk has said that he and his centre-back partners will be doing their best to add goals from set-pieces in the coming months as Liverpool look to win every game.
The Reds beat Crystal Palace last weekend in the Premier League with a 3-1 scoreline coming thanks to goals from Van Dijk, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Fabinho.
Indeed, the opener was a powerful header from the Dutchman and that is something he wants to be doing more of:
Virgil van Dijk on scoring goals:
“Everyone has to contribute towards three points. Centre-backs are a big part of set-pieces and we have to try to do our best in that and score and contribute for the team.” #awlive [lfc] pic.twitter.com/RseJOWIBaZ

Anfield Watch Verdict
Van Dijk is a brilliant header of a football and we obviously see that most at defensive situations.
When free in the attacking box, though, he is a massive threat and he certainly showed that on Sunday.
He'll be aiming to add more goals in the matches ahead.
