It has been reported that Aston Villa manager Steven Gerrard could eventually replace Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool.
The former Red was asked about the Liverpool job in his most recent press conference.
However, Gerrard did not want to talk about the Reds. The 41-year-old said that his entire focus is on helping Aston Villa progress as a club.
The aforementioned response highlights that Gerrard is not getting ahead of himself.
We would love to see the Scouser take the reigns at Anfield one day, as he is a club legend. But, we do want Gerrard to earn the job.
