The 35-year-old midfielder has won plenty of trophies throughout his career. Therefore, we wouldn't blame Milner if he did take his foot off the pedal slightly.
However, Lijnders revealed during Tuesday's press conference that the Englishman is still looking to win more silverware at the backend of his career.
Milner has always been a fighter. With that being the case, Lijnders' comments come as no surprise to us.
The 38-year-old also made it clear that Liverpool have a chance to win the 2022 League Cup. But, the Reds will have to defeat Leicester City in the quarter-finals tonight if they wish to progress to the next stage.
The game will kick-off at 07:45pm at Anfield.
???? Pep Lijnders on the greed to add more trophies:
"James Milner is 35 and he still dreams of winning prizes so of course there is an opportunity to reach the semi-final. We know this. And of course, if you want to be a proper Liverpool legend, you need to win cups as well." ???? pic.twitter.com/lyTy8jk2xO
