Video: Danny Murphy can see Liverpool star departing Anfield

Former Liverpool midfielder Danny Murphy could potentially see Reds winger Mohamed Salah departing Anfield.

Reds boss Jurgen Klopp confirmed back in August that the club had opened contract talks with the Egyptian international.

Salah's current deal expires in the summer of 2023. However, Liverpool and the 29-year-old are yet to reach an agreement.

Salah recently said that he was "happy" to be linked with Barcelona.

Due to the aforementioned reasons, Murphy believes that the forward might leave the Reds in the near future.

Liverpool's No.11 is having a superb season. Salah has scored 19 goals and registered nine assists in 20 appearances for the Reds.

It would be heartbreaking to lose a player that is capable of producing the aforementioned figures.
