On the 26th of October 2013, Liverpool welcomed West Bromwich Albion to Anfield.

The Reds won the aforementioned Premier League fixture 4-1. Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge scored a superb goal late on in the second half.

As you can see in the footage below, the Englishman chipped Baggies goalkeeper Boaz Myhill from outside the opposition penalty area. It takes a fair bit of talent to be able to do that.

Sturridge was a fine player for Liverpool between 2013-19. The forward scored 68 goals in 160 appearances for the club's first-team.

It was a shame that Sturridge's body continuously let him down during his time at Anfield. There is no denying that the 32-year-old could have scored a few more goals for Liverpool had he been able to stay fit.
