Liverpool's Premier League title aspirations remain alive after the Reds' resounding 3-1 win against Fulham at Craven Cottage on Sunday. And vice-captain Trent Alexander-Arnold has come out fighting.

With the Reds now level on points with league leaders Arsenal and one point ahead of Manchester City, who have a game in hand, Alexander-Arnold expressed Liverpool's clear objective: to secure victory in every remaining game.

"[Today] was huge, obviously," Alexander-Arnold said in his post-match interview with Sky Sports. "At this point in the season, [if] you don’t get the results that you want, then you’re out of the title race."

After last week's 1-0 defeat at home to Crystal Palace, Liverpool's fate in the league was no longer in their own hands.

However, second-half goals at Craven Cottage from Ryan Gravenberch and Diogo Jota, after Timothy Castagne cancelled out Alexander-Arnold's stunning freekick, ensured that the Reds remained in the chasing pack.

Reflecting on the significance of the win, Alexander-Arnold stressed the need for Liverpool to maintain momentum and capitalise on every opportunity presented to them.

"It was a very important game for us, obviously [after] seeing Arsenal get their result last night. It was a big one and now we have five finals, just throw the kitchen sink at it and try and get over the line," he said.

'Five finals'

Acknowledging the challenge posed by Manchester City, Alexander-Arnold remained pragmatic but determined, highlighting the importance of Liverpool maintaining a winning streak to put pressure on their rivals.

"I think at this point of the season, the likelihood in our minds is that [Manchester City] won’t drop points. That comes from previous seasons that we’ve had against them," he said. "But we need to be in a position. Last week, we kicked ourselves because results went our way and we weren't able to capitalise on it."

He stressed the urgency of Liverpool's situation, emphasizing the necessity of five consecutive victories to maximize their chances of securing the title.

"From now on it’s five wins from five, and that’s the only thing we can expect and that’s all we can aim for," Alexander-Arnold concluded.

With the race for the Premier League title intensifying, Liverpool's determination to "throw the kitchen sink" at their remaining fixtures sets the stage for an exhilarating climax to the season.
