Liverpool midfielder Tyler Morton made his Champions League debut against Porto at Anfield last night.
The 19-year-old played reasonably well against the Portuguese side. Morton registered a WhoScored player rating of 7.29 against Porto.
With that being the case, some Liverpool fans took to Twitter to praise the youngster for his performance.
Tidy player. No frills. Nothing fancy. Got the ball and moved it quickly and obviously a very good passer as well.

You can tell he will be an excellent player as he always seems to have time in the ball.

The Reds ended up winning the aforementioned group stage clash 2-0.
ANFIELD WATCH VERDICT
We completely agree with the aforementioned responses from some of the Anfield faithful.
Morton didn't stand out against Porto last night, but he didn't make any mistakes. Whenever the 19-year-old got on the ball, he looked assured.
In fact, Morton completed 82.9 percent of his passes against the Portuguese team.
If the youngster keeps on working hard and improving, then there is absolutely no reason why he can't go on and become a regular for Liverpool's first-team in the future.
On another note, the Reds will face AC Milan at the San Siro in two weeks' time to conclude their 2021-22 Champions League group stage campaign.
Liverpool have won all of their group stage matches (five) so far, which means that they have already qualified for the last-16 of Europe's elite competition.
