Speaking to Liverpoolfc.com, as quoted by Anfield Watch's Twitter account, Jota revealed that despite losing the Champions League final to Real Madrid in Paris, it was impossible to be sad during the parade.
"This is amazing, to be honest," he said. "It is impossible to be sad in this moment when you have all these people here. Last night was a sad moment, but four defeats and two trophies in one season? It deserves celebrating."
Jota also reflected on the game against Real Madrid, saying that football is about scoring and their inability to do that against Madrid is what ultimately cost them.
As quoted by Anfield Watch's Twitter account, he said: "Football is about scoring goals and we didn't last night. But this season has been outstanding. Any season with two trophies is not a bad season. Hopefully we can kick off next season with the Community Shield!"

Anfield Watch Verdict
No matter how you look at it, Saturday's performance against Real Madrid was very disappointing. On the night, we were the better side, but we expected a lot more from our forwards.
Real Madrid's game plan was solid and thanks to some wonder saves from Thibaut Courtois, they went on to lift their 14 European Cup.
Liverpool will be back next season though. The last time we lost to Madrid in the final, we went on to win it the season after.
If Fenway Sports Group back Jurgen Klopp and give him the players that he wants, then we should have no issue competing for the major trophies again.
Who knows, we could even have another historic quadruple run next season.
