The key talking points from Liverpool's clash against Norwich City

Liverpool defeated Norwich City 3-1 at Anfield last Saturday.

We have decided to analyse the key talking points from the aforementioned Premier League fixture.

Liverpool showed their mental strength again

Liverpool went behind against Norwich City. Milot Rashica gave the Canaries a 1-0 lead 48 minutes into the match.

However, Norwich City taking the lead ultimately got the Reds going. Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Luis Diaz all found the back of the net to make sure that Liverpool secured the three points.

Whenever this current Reds side go behind, we are confident that they can get back into the game. We have seen it plenty of times over the years.

Reds boss Jurgen Klopp was delighted with the victory.

The 54-year-old told the club's official website the following: "Yes, it was [a] complicated [match], no problem with that. It’s Premier League, you can see what kind of quality all the teams have. But that makes it so special when you win them then anyway."

Salah scored his 150th Liverpool goal and Diaz scored his first

When Liverpool signed Salah from Roma for a transfer fee of €42 million back in the summer of 2017, we certainly did not expect him to turn into one of the best players in the world.

But, the Egyptian international has very much become that. Salah scored his 150th goal for the club against Norwich City. Salah brought up his 150th goal in 233 appearances.

New signing Diaz scored his first goal for the club against Canaries, also.

"Ah, today was a really cheeky one [Salah's goal], to be honest," Klopp told

"I remember the Chelsea goal when he was on the side and that thunderbolt in the far corner. A few of them dribbling – one [Manchester] City, one Watford. The [Manchester] United goal I liked a lot, the 2-0, Ali’s pass as well.

"Champions League, one at [Manchester] City as well – not because it’s City but it was very, very special.

"I can probably not remember all 150 but I can remember a lot and there were some good goals.

"The first one I think was at Watford, that was the easiest goal maybe he scored since he was here.

"If Luis [Diaz] would use the first goal for a similar journey, it would be cool! Nobody could have expected that day when he scored at Watford that in this short period of time it would be possible for him to score 149 more. Really special."

Jordan Henderson reminds everyone of his quality

There had been a bit of talk about Henderson's place in the side leading into the match against Norwich City.

However, the captain showed his quality against the Canaries. As you can see in the footage below, Henderson's pass to play in Diaz was absolutely world-class.

Henderson registered a WhoScored player rating of 7.70 for his 90-minute performance against Norwich City.

Hopefully the 31-year-old can take some confidence from the weekend and finish the season strongly.

A look at the table

Liverpool's victory against Norwich City was a big one. League leaders Manchester City dropped points to Tottenham Hotpsur at the Etihad Stadium later on in the day.

With that being the case, the Reds are right back in the title race. Liverpool are only six points behind Manchester City.

But, Klopp's team do have a game in hand over Pep Guardiola's side. Liverpool will face Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on the 9th of April.

If Liverpool and Manchester City don't drop any points between now and the beginning of April, the aforementioned fixture could be a blockbuster.

The match at the Etihad Stadium could arguably be the title decider.
