"Spits out of car windows" - Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher slammed by Kia Joorabchian

Controversial football agent Kia Joorabchian has hit back at Jamie Carragher after the Liverpool legend blamed him for Everton's failures under Farhad Moshri.

Carragher referred to Everton as the 'worst-run club in England' on Monday Night Football and described Moshri's relationship with Joorabchian as 'unhealthy.'

"You start with the owner, Farhad Moshiri, he doesn’t know what he’s doing but he’s got a lot of money.

"He’s put a lot of money in. He’s got a very unhealthy relationship with Kia Joorabchian, and that partnership has caused a lot of problems at Everton."

When asked about the Liverpool legend's comments (quotes via Daily Mail), Joorabchian launched a brutal attack on Carragher and referenced an incident from 2018 where Carragher spat at a car, which contained a 14-year-old girl.

"[He is] unlike someone like Jamie Carragher who unfortunately lives in a glass house, spits out of car windows and has no education in terms of his background when he makes a comment.

"I've done three transfers of my players [to Everton] over the course of Farhad's tenure at Everton. Richarlison, who was very successful. The free transfer of Bernard from Shakhtar, and again he was a player who wasn't a complete disaster and he did very well.

"We had Carlo Ancelotti who was the only manager they've taken [from my clients] as a recommendation and we always do the same with every club in the Premier League if they're looking for a manager - we always present our client. We were also involved in the El-Ghazi loan which was part of the Lucas Digne transfer and an FFP scenario and unfortunately, that didn't work out due to the change of manager and he wasn't in the new manager's plans."

ANFIELD WATCH VERDICT

The war of words between Jamie Carragher and Kia Joorabchian is showing no signs of slowing down, with the Liverpool legend responding to the agent's comments on Twitter. He said: "Kia, there is no need to get personal, I’m just analyzing your role in football clubs! Involved in helping Everton to the bottom of PL. Involved at QPR, which ended with relegation. Your signings at Arsenal took them to 8th, now they’ve gone, they’re top!"

Maybe Carragher isn't well-informed about Everton's situation, but he's absolutely right in saying that there's no need to get personal as he was just trying to do his job as a pundit.
