Some Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to give their thoughts on Reds centre-back Ibrahima Konate.
The club signed the Frenchman from RB Leipzig for a transfer fee of £36 million back in the summer.
Konate has had a decent start to life at Anfield. The 22-year-old has averaged a WhoScored player rating of 7.06 across 12 games this season.
Can see his undoubted talent. Still raw. In two years he’ll be one of the best in his position if he stays injury free and can soak up and implement everything he learns from Virg, Joel and Jurgen.

A natural talent with physicality to make him formidable. Refining his eye for positioning will come with help from VVD. He's at 7.5 already.

He’s been solid. At time his age shows and lack of composure or confidences arises but working with Matip and Virgil he’ll surely be a top CB in the future. Think the signing will feel like a great deal in the years to come

Anfield Watch Verdict
We really look forward to seeing how Konate develops in the next few years. There is no denying that the 22-year-old is a very talented player.
Due to Konate's age, it would be fair to assume that he still has plenty of room left for improvement.
Also, playing/training alongside Virgil van Dijk will only help the Frenchman improve. The Dutchman was named the runner-up for the 2019 Ballon d'Or, which highlights that he is a fantastic role model.
Hopefully Konate can turn out to be as half as good as Van Dijk. But, only time will tell if that is to be the case.
