Sadio Mane's acrobatic overhead kick against Norwich has been shortlisted for February's Premier League Goal of the Month award.

Anfield Watch Verdict

A lot of Liverpool fans will feel that Matip's amazing goal against Leeds should also be nominated for this month's award.

Unfortunately, the Premier League haven't selected his goal but it will always live on in the hearts of Liverpool fans.

The last Liverpool player to win the Goal of the Month award was Mohamed Salah, who scored a spectacular solo goal against Manchester City in October 2021.

Mane has never won this award and if he beats out the competition then it could be another achievement to add to his ever-growing collection.

This is the third award that Liverpool have been nominated for during February. Jurgen Klopp has been shortlisted for the Premier League Manager of the Month award and Matip has been selected for the Premier League Player of the Month award.
