Photo: Proof that Sadio Mane's goal against Porto should have stood

Sadio Mane started for Liverpool against Porto at Anfield earlier this week.

The winger found the back of the net during the first half of the aforementioned Champions League group stage clash.

However, VAR came to the conclusion that Mane was offside before scoring against the Portuguese side. Therefore, the 29-year-old's goal was chalked off.

But, if you look at screenshot below, we can't exactly work out how Mane was deemed to be offside.

The line indicates that the Senegal international's arm is offside. But, you cannot score with your arm. With that being the case, the goal should have stood.

Liverpool went on to defeat Porto 2-0. The image below was provided by Twitter user @AnfieldRd96.
