Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah has been pictured wearing the club's 2022-23 home kit.

The new design was released last week and we do have to say, it looks superb. Therefore, it should come as no surprise that Salah looks good wearing the kit.

Anfield Watch Verdict

There has been plenty of talk regarding Salah's future in recent times. The winger is out of contract at the conclusion of next season.

It has been reported that talks regarding a new deal have broken down between Salah and the club.

But, hopefully an agreement is reached sooner rather than later. Salah is an elite footballer, so we don't want to lose him.

Former Manchester United full-back Gary Neville described the 29-year-old as a "killer".

ā€œI know we know that he is some player, but when you think four years ago when he first came to Liverpool and he got those 40-odd goals (debut season), and I thought ā€˜Thatā€™s a freak, he wonā€™t be able to live with thatā€™, but then he consistently produces over the next two or three years," he told Sky Sports two years ago, as quoted by The Football Faithful.

Neville added: ā€œWe had a debate last season of (Sadio) Mane or Salah, and you think about the mentality difference between them. Mane is likeable, the players probably love him, he gives his all every single day, heā€™ll do the selfless thing for the team.

ā€œThen you look at Salah over the other side. He sometimes doesnā€™t pass to his teammate, heā€™s a little bit more selfish, maybe a little less likeable because of that.

ā€œBut looking at him as an outsider, and Iā€™m thinking, ā€˜He is an absolute killer on the pitchā€™."

Hopefully Salah is wearing the famous red until he retires. However, it is well known that no one is bigger than the club.

Liverpool will survive with or without the Egyptian.
