It was confirmed yesterday that Luis Diaz had departed Porto and joined Liverpool on a five-year deal.

With that being the case, the 25-year-old has taken to Instagram to thank the Portuguese side for giving him an opportunity.

Diaz scored 41 goals and registered 19 assists in 125 appearances for Porto.

Anfield Watch Verdict

Diaz is clearly a classy individual. The aforementioned figures also highlight that Colombia international is a terrific player.

With that being the case, we can't want to see Diaz in action. Hopefully Reds boss Jurgen Klopp gives him an opportunity reasonably soon.

If the winger works hard, then there is no reason why he can't have a long and successful career at Anfield.
