Liverpool midfielder Harvey Elliott has been out of action since mid-September.

The 18-year-old seriously injured his ankle against Leeds United at Elland Road. With that being the case, Elliott has been forced to watch the Reds from the sidelines in recent weeks.

Liverpool came up against Manchester United at Old Trafford last weekend.

As you can see pictured below, Elliott watched the aforementioned Premier League fixture from home.

When the image was taken, the youngster was standing right in front of the television, which does suggest that he was heavily invested in the match.

Elliott grew up following Liverpool. Therefore, the midfielder is a supporter as much as he is a player.

The photo below was provided by Joe Rimmer.
