Manchester United will welcome Liverpool to Old Trafford next Sunday. The Premier League clash will kick-off at 04:30 pm.
Liverpool currently sit in second-place on the Premier League table. Manchester United on the other hand sit in sixth-place on the table.
Pundit Gary Neville has implied that the Red Devils will need to improve if they are to beat the best teams in the league such as the Reds.
“Oh, we know what’s coming,” Neville told Sky Sports. “Having struggled against half decent teams, they’re now going to play against some of the best teams in the world. Next Sunday, they’re going to play Liverpool and then they have to play Man City the week after.
“They’re going to play Tottenham and then Chelsea and these are proper teams."
ANFIELD WATCH VERDICT
Liverpool are in good form at the moment. Therefore, we are confident that the Reds could defeat Manchester United at Old Trafford next weekend.
Liverpool did defeat the Red Devils 4-2 in the corresponding fixture last season. But, we are also wary of the fact that Manchester United do possess some talented footballers (Cristiano Ronaldo, Jadon Sancho, Raphael Varane and so on).
Therefore, we do believe that the Reds will have to be somewhere near their best to defeat the Red Devils next weekend.
