Mohamed Salah has linked up with the Egyptian national team ahead of AFCON and will be looking to try and achieve continental glory with his country in the coming weeks.
The attacker has been in sensational form for Liverpool so far this season and that has led many to suggest that right now he is the best footballer in the world.
Certainly, a big run in this month's tournament in Cameroon would only cement that status further and it appears as though he is raring to go, with a new haircut to boot.
Taking to his Instagram story, which is shared by us here at Anfield Watch, 'The Egyptian King' has shown off a new short hairstyle which sees his instantly recognisable curly hair cut back, particularly at the sides:

It's a snappy look from Mo and something we saw similar at the start of last season before he began to let it grow again.
Anfield Watch Verdict
As long as Salah doesn't take after biblical figure Samson and lose his strength when he's cut his hair, we don't mind how he looks!
The AFCON tournament is a great opportunity for Mohamed Salah to further write his name in the history books of both Egyptian and African football and he'll be eager to help his country record another win in the tournament, something they dominated soon after the turn of the century.
Indeed, it would be another great trophy to add to his collection and he'll be looking good in the medal photos if he does bag one by the looks of it.
