There's simply no denying it. Mohamed Salah has had a blistering start to the season.

With three goals and three assists already in the opening three games, we may be in for another special campaign from Liverpool's number 11 who looks to be back to his very best

Since joining Liverpool in 2017, Salah has won multiple individual awards, including PFA Player of the Year, as well as the club's Player of the Season four times. On top of this, his 157 Premier League goals so far have earned him three Golden Boots. Let's hope the Egyptian's trophy cabinet is big enough for a few more.

Salah fights for the crown

The forward's phenomenal efforts this season have been recognised with a nomination for August’s Player of the Month.

However, Salah is facing stiff competition for this award from some big names who have also taken the season by storm so far.

Mo is up against Manchester City striker Erling Haaland, Brentford attacker Bryan Mbeumo, Aston Villa midfielder Amadou Onana, Chelsea star Cole Palmer, Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya, Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka and Brighton veteran Danny Welbeck.

The Egyptian King’s hottest rival will most certainly be Haaland who has scored a magnificent seven goals in three games, including two hat-tricks against Ipswich Town and West Ham United.

Mo’s contribution however can not go unnoticed. Under a new manager, pundits were predicting a drop off for Liverpool but senior players like Salah have stepped up to the plate and proved the doubters wrong.

We're therefore calling on all Liverpool fans to vote here so Mo can receive the recognition he deserves for such a fantastic month.
