Journalist Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Liverpool will make a move for Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham next summer.
The Reds have been linked with a move for the 19-year-old in recent times.
However, Romano has confirmed that the aforementioned interest is true.
“Liverpool signed Arthur Melo on loan, but they need a new top midfielder next summer and Bellingham can be the player, so Liverpool will try for sure,” the Italian journalist told his YouTube channel, as quoted by Live 4 Liverpool.
“In England, all the top clubs, not just Liverpool, are following Bellingham.
“Man City, for sure, but also Man United have been following Bellingham for a long time, so many clubs will be in the race.”

Anfield Watch Verdict
It is a well known fact that Bellingham is one of the brightest prospects in the game. Therefore, we do hope that Liverpool make a move for the 19-year-old in the near future.
On another note, we do look forward to seeing more of Melo. The Reds signed the midfielder on a season-long loan from Juventus earlier this summer.
However, Melo has only made one appearance for Liverpool so far this season. The Brazilian featured against Napoli at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium last week.
So, we are yet to see the best of Melo. But, he will get his chance eventually. We wish the midfielder all the best for the remainder of the campaign.
