Liverpool vice-captain Trent Alexander-Arnold has been pictured on holiday in the United States with Jude Bellingham.

The pair were at the European Championship together with England, reaching the final. They have been given some extended time off by their clubs in order to recover for the new season.

The right-back has already been spotted signing a Real Madrid shirt for a fan which didn’t do much to calm down the transfer rumours.

Alexander-Arnold has only one year left on his current Liverpool contract and therefore plenty of rumours have been flying around about his future.

Real Madrid hold an interest in the 25-year-old and if he were to go there he would be joining up with Bellingham.

The duo are good friends hence why they have been on holiday together. This time they were seen on Instagram as Bellingham posted a collage of pictures from their time in Los Angeles.

Marcel, Trent’s brother, was in a picture on the Instagram post with Bellingham’s best friend Toby Bishay.

As well as that picture there was a snap of them on a rollercoaster and also a candid shot of just Bellingham and Alexander-Arnold.

There is no doubt that conversations about their futures will have come up. Certainly, after the fact Jordan Henderson and Alexander-Arnold tried to convince Bellingham to join Liverpool a couple of years ago.

The expectation from fans now is that the tables have turned and it is Bellingham trying to convince Alexander-Arnold to move to Spain.

Liverpool’s sporting director Richard Hughes has reportedly made a contract extension for the Scouser a priority. The longer the situation drags on though the more concerned fans will be that their local hero could leave.

It won’t be too long now until Alexander-Arnold is back in pre-season training which will be a welcome sight for Liverpool fans.
