WATCH: Reported Mo Salah replacement scores SCREAMER in Europa League
Liverpool know that they’re going to have to replace Mohamed Salah at some point, despite it being a seemingly impossible task.
With the ongoing saga of his contract expiring at the end of the season raising the blood pressure of every Red, suggestions of his replacement comprise a long list.
Midtjylland winger Dario Osorio has been one of these names, with reports indicating that Liverpool are keeping a very close eye on the €10m-rated star.

It’s been previously claimed that Liverpool have been watching Osorio since his days with Universidad de Chile with the player having moved to Denmark for a fee of around €5 million in 2023.
He scored five goals in 14 regular Superliga games last season before adding three - and two assists - as Midtjylland claimed the title after nine more Championship round games.
And the Chilean’s sublime goal in the Europa League last night will only intensify these rumours, with a curled 20-yard effort cutting in from the right-hand side with his left foot being a common sight in Salah’s 250+ goals in red.
The goal came as part of a 1-1 tussle with German outfit Hoffenheim as the Danes look to take advantage of the revamped league format in European football. Their previous best result was a Round of 32 defeat to Manchester United in 2015-16 and a play-off round loss to Sporting Lisbon in 22-23.
Osorio has had a slow start to the season, scoring only once in the league, although this was his second in Midtjylland’s European escapades so far. At only 20 years old, however, these flashes of brilliance suggest that he could develop into an ample Salah replacement if allowed to be nurtured under Arne Slot.
Salah, meanwhile, was scoring Liverpool’s third on the way to a 5-1 dismantling of West Ham in the third round of the League Cup.
