Salah to join Egyptian connection in the USA
Liverpool started their domestic season brilliantly and once again Mohamed Salah has been front and centre of the Reds' success.
The dark cloud sitting over Salah’s impressive start to 2024/25 is the fact that his contract is set to expire in less than a year and this means the Egyptian could leave Anfield for free at the end of the season.

Already there has been a huge amount of speculation around the Egyptian King’s future, fuelled further by the star admitting this could be his last campaign for Liverpool.
Now, according to TBR Football, new Major League Soccer side San Diego FC are planning an ambitious move that would see Salah playing his football in California from 2025.
Fabrizio Romano expects move for new Liverpool target
Liverpool have started the season well, and currently sit top of the Premier League, but this hasn’t stopped them looking ahead at how they can improve their squad.
One man who was linked with Liverpool this summer is Jonathan David, who currently leads the line at Lille.
David was also considered back in 2020 before the Reds decided to sign Diogo Jota, but an Anfield move for the Canadian forward could now be back on.
Speaking on The Debrief podcast, Romano revealed that he expects David to leave Lille as a free agent at the end of the season.
Liverpool's Bellingham dream is now a Trent nightmare
It wasn’t too long ago that Liverpool fans were riding high on a wave of optimism, especially when the club was in the race to sign Jude Bellingham.
The potential of pairing one of England's brightest young talents with Trent Alexander-Arnold at Anfield had fans dreaming of a midfield revolution.
But now, with Real Madrid’s growing interest in Alexander-Arnold, the mood among Liverpool supporters has taken a sharp and unsettling turn.
Bellingham was pictured waiting for Trent behind a large birthday card for the right-back, while out on international duty together for England.
Dynamic prodigy confirms Liverpool transfer interest
Rising Scandinavian star Daniel Svensson has acknowledged Liverpool’s interest in him and expressed his intention to move on from his current club in the near future.
According to Football Transfers in August, Liverpool have been closely monitoring the 22-year-old, who has drawn comparisons to Real Madrid’s Eduardo Camavinga due to his versatility.
In a recent interview with Fotbollskanalen, Svensson revealed that Liverpool has "watched some matches" in which he played for Nordsjaelland, and he feels "absolutely ready" for a new challenge in one of Europe’s top leagues.
The left-back cum midfielder would add great versatility to Arne Slot's side, adding further competition for a place in the team amongst Andrew Robertson and Kostas Tsimikas.
