Liverpool transfer news: Arne Slot makes SURPRISE Stefan Bajcetic decision
Liverpool are willing to let Stefan Bajcetic leave the club on loan this summer, according to a new report.
The Spanish wonderkid has blossomed when available for Liverpool's senior squad after making his breakthrough in 2022/23, but he only made a handful of appearances for the Reds last term due to several significant injuries.
Having fought back from his fitness issues and put in a solid pre-season under new head coach Arne Slot, it was believed that the 19-year-old would stick around at Anfield for the upcoming campaign to provide depth in defensive midfield.

However, according to Liverpool news outlet DaveOCKOP, Slot has made it clear that he is willing to let Bajectic leave the club on loan before the transfer window slams shut.
Reportedly, the young Spaniard has been informed of Slot's decision.
It's certainly a surprising development given Bajcetic's immense potential but a loan move could prove incredibly beneficial. Harvey Elliott and Conor Bradley are recent examples of academy graduates who have thrived following temporary spells away from Merseyside.
It remains to be seen where Bajcetic may end up but Liverpool will want him playing regular football at the highest level possible. Given his quality, a spell in the Premier League or La Liga seems reasonable.
THE MARTIN ZUBIMENDI INFLUENCE
The fact that Liverpool are currently negotiating a deal for Spanish midfielder Martin Zubimendi from Real Sociedad could well have influenced the Reds' Bajcetic decision.
The 25-year-old is being actively pursued by the Reds but a deal is proving complicated as things stand. Zubimendi has a release clause of approximately £51m in his current contract.
The fact that Liverpool are seemingly willing to let Bajcetic leave suggests that they may be confident in getting a deal for Zubimendi over the line.
It's been reported that Real Sociedad are doing everything in their power to keep the Euro 2024 winner at the club and he is yet to make a final decision on his future.
