Liverpool fans want club to ACCEPT offers for 'special' talent - poll results

Liverpool fans have answered our poll and want the club to accept offers for a ‘special’ talent at the club. Ben Doak reportedly has interested parties.

Ben Doak is generating interest right now. Multiple Premier League clubs are after him on loan and await a decision from both the player and Liverpool on his future.

Doak could depart on loan, then - if he wants to. He's got some time to make up his mind, with Liverpool not expecting to sit down with the youngster to discuss things until after their preseason tour of the USA.

Reports suggest he's after regular first-team football - and the Reds are unlikely to hand him that. But Doak is a 'special' talent, in the words of Jurgen Klopp, and one who could force his way into Arne Slot's plans.

It would be a risk, though, and potentially take a year from Doak's career if he can't find regular minutes at Anfield. There's talk of other right-wingers coming in, too, which could make it even more difficult for the youngster.

So what should Liverpool actually do with Doak? We asked fans on X/Twitter to see what they think.

Poll results: What to do with Ben Doak

We gave fans three options here - loan Doak only to a Premier League side, loan him to the best club available, or keep him and use him. Overwhelmingly, fans voted to loan Doak out somewhere.

Around half (48.7%) want him out at a Premier League side for the upcoming season. Another 34.9% feel Liverpool should definitely loan him out and merely take the best available offer.

Just 16.4% of fans say Doak should stick around. It's a very low number, especially as Liverpool don't actually have a proper backup for Mohamed Salah right now.

But perhaps fans merely want a new arrival, rather than banking on Doak to step up.
