Liverpool’s Mo Salah replacement UNDER THREAT from Real Madrid
Liverpool have adapted well to life under new head coach Arne Slot and currently sit top of the Premier League.
The Reds have improved defensively, having only conceded twice in their opening seven league matches, and Slot has got a number of his defenders in great form.
Slot’s side are also deadly in attack, scoring 22 goals in their opening 10 games in all competitions.
Despite their impressive start to the campaign, Liverpool are still looking out for talent they can add to their squad but they may have just suffered a blow in one transfer pursuit.

Real Madrid interested in Osorio
Dario Osorio, a reported target for Liverpool, and someone they allegedly bid for in the summer, has put in a number of impressive performances for FC Midtjylland in both the Danish Superliga and the UEFA Europa League this season, and has landed himself on the radar of Real Madrid.
According to a report from Mas Fichajes, Los Blancos are interested in bringing the 20-year-old to the Spanish capital.
Real Madrid’s interest in the Chilean winger is part of their transfer strategy to sign players for the future as well as the present, led by chief scout Juni Calafat.
Liverpool will also reportedly have to fend off interest from rivals Manchester United to complete the signing of Osorio.
Who is Dario Osorio?
Capable of playing on either wing, Osorio is a versatile winger who arrived in Denmark from Club Universidad de Chile in August 2023.
The youngster made 25 appearances in his debut season for Midtjylland, scoring nine goals and providing two assists.
Liverpool have been interested in the Chilean for a while and, with Mohamed Salah’s contract set to expire at the end of the season, they could make make a move for the player as they seek the long-term heir to the Egyptian King.
The interest from Real Madrid will make a deal harder to complete but Los Blancos are already stacked with attacking talent such as Kylian Mbappe, Vinicius Jr and Rodrygo so a deal is possible for the Reds.
