Brentford confident of TOTAL Sepp van den Berg agreement with Liverpool
One Premier League club is confident of sealing a complete agreement with Liverpool - and it could come today.
The Times reports that Brentford feel confident they can secure a deal with Liverpool for Sepp van den Berg. That's despite the huge threat of Bayer Leverkusen, who also want the player.
Both clubs are thought to have struck pre-agreements with Liverpool to sign the Dutchman. Van den Berg will move for over £25m, possibly approaching £30m with add-ons.

Ultimately, though, he must decide where he goes. It's unknown where Van den Berg would prefer to play, but reports elsewhere suggest he'll make that decision on Wednesday.
The Times claim that Brentford made the first move here, and that it's 'late interest' from Leverkusen that puts their deal at risk. They remain confident that they can get Van den Berg, though.
Brentford want Van den Berg
If Van den Berg says 'yes' to Brentford, then it sounds like he's theirs. Both the London side and Leverkusen appear willing to pay well over Liverpool's initial asking price to secure a move and it's simply down to where the 22-year-old wants to play.
Both have their positives. Brentford bring the draw of the Premier League and, potentially, an easier path to the first-team. Leverkusen are currently a much better team but Van den Berg also thrived in the Bundesliga with Mainz last season and may see that as the league for him. Even though Xabi Alonso's team may be tougher to find regular football.
Either way, Liverpool will be thrilled. They reportedly wanted around £20m this summer, with the likes of Mainz and PSV Eindhoven thought to be favourites - but only if they could talk the Reds down.
Instead, richer clubs have gotten involved and now Liverpool stand to make a massive profit on the player. Patience was key here and it's really paid off.
