Arne Slot decides he WON'T use 'special' Liverpool player and now welcomes offers
Arne Slot has decided that one ‘special’ Liverpool player can leave the club this summer. The Dutchman has now assessed his squad.
Football Scotland claims that Arne Slot is happy to loan out Ben Doak for the upcoming season. Slot has been assessing his squad over the last month or so in order to allow certain players to leave.
Doak is now one of those who isn't expected to have a role at Liverpool this season. The Reds will instead try to loan him elsewhere and clubs are reportedly interested.

Both Southampton and Leicester City are supposedly fans of Doak and would like to sign him up for the next campaign. It's entirely possible that they face further competition for him, however, now that Liverpool have decided to court offers.
We asked Liverpool fans just last week what they wanted the club to do with Doak. The result was clear - around 85% felt he was best-served away from Anfield.
Around half felt that was only the case if the loan was to a Premier League club, though. Both Southampton and Leicester tick that box, of course, but it's a risk.
Doak is less likely to play regularly in the top flight than if he dropped down into the Championship. At the same time, if he did earn regular football in the Premier League, it would be a game-changing season for him.
Liverpool assess Ben Doak
Doak is a massive talent - one Jurgen Klopp considered 'special'. An injury stopped him from having a bigger part to play last season but there are high hopes that this upcoming campaign could be a breakout season for the teenager.
If it does, Doak could position himself well to be Mohamed Salah's eventual successor on the Reds' right flank. That will be the ultimate goal and it's conspicuous that Liverpool aren't targeting a long-term replacement for the Egyptian.
We do believe they want Doak to be that. This could well be the season he proves it.
