'Unbelievable' Liverpool target is NOW open to £25m transfer
After a quiet summer for incoming transfers, Liverpool could be significantly more active in the January transfer window.
It remains to be seen if or where Arne Slot will look to bolster his squad, however, if the Reds are serious about competing on all four fronts, additions will have to be made.
With Trent Alexander-Arnold, Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah being able to sign pre-agreements with other clubs from January 1, this window is crucial for the Reds.
On top of contract sagas, the congested fixture schedule means rotation is key and if the first-team gets plagued with injuries, a lack of squad depth could halt Liverpool’s title charge.

Liverpool target Ademola Lookman open to move
Liverpool’s attack is one area that the Reds are looking to constantly improve. The Reds have already been linked with a move for Eintract Frankfurt’s Omar Marmoush, who is tipped to be a long-term successor for his Egyptian teammate Salah.
However, he isn’t the only attacker on Liverpool’s radar. According to Sky Sports Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg reporting that Ademola Lookman is open to a new challenge and a January move could be on the cards.
Lookman was linked with a move to Liverpool in the summer and it is no secret the Reds would be open to bolstering Slot's attacking options.
The Nigerian international showcased his quality last season scoring a hat-trick in the Europa League final and he has Premier League experience as well as versatility on his side - being able to play everywhere across the front three.
In the past, he has been described as an 'unbelievable' player by his former manager Scott Parker while he was at Fulham.
"Yeah, look he's been fantastic for us," Parker said as per Football.London about Lookman back in January 2021.
"The boy has unbelievable quality, a special player really and he showed that when he comes on today. Get him in and around the box and he's difficult to play against," he added.
