ANFIELD WATCH VERDICT

We would love to see the club sign Valverde. The midfielder is a talented footballer.

Valverde averaged a WhoScored player rating of 6.90 across the 2020-21 Champions League campaign.

The Uruguayan has also made 114 appearances for Real Madrid's first-team. You have to be a very good footballer to consistently represent the biggest club in world football.

The aforementioned figures highlight that Valverde would add quality and depth to Liverpool's midfield.

Also, due to the midfielder's age, he could potentially represent the Reds for a number of years.

Hopefully Liverpool do make a move for Valverde in the near future. But, only time will tell if the Reds are genuinely interested in Real Madrid's No.15.
