Liverpool release ticket information regarding Carabao Cup final

Liverpool have released ticket information regarding next month's Carabao Cup final with Chelsea.

The Reds booked their spot in the showpiece fixture on Wednesday evening, drawing 1-1 with Fulham at Craven Cottage but coming out with a 3-2 aggregate lead over the two semi-final legs.

Luis Diaz's early strike turned out to be the decisive one, with Liverpool aiming for a second triumph in the competition in just three years.

Much like their last trip to Wembley Stadium in the Carabao Cup in 2022, Chelsea will be their opponents after hammering Championship Middlesbrough 6-2 over two legs.

With fans desperate to get their hands on tickets for the big game, Liverpool have revealed how supporters can secure a spot at Wembley on 25 February.

The Reds have received an allocation of only 32,196 supporters despite the fact that Wembley is a 90,000-seat stadium and there will be four different sales in which fans can buy tickets.

All sales will be conducted online, with the first being accessible from 1-5 February, but only to Priority Rights Holders.

The second sale, which takes place from 8:15am (GMT) on Monday 5 February to 7:30am on Wednesday 7 February, is available to supporters who recorded four of Liverpool's five Carabao Cup games this season - Leicester City (H), Bournemouth (A), West Ham United (H), Fulham (H), Fulham (A).

The third sale will be done by ballot entry but is only accessible to supporters who recorded three of Liverpool's Carabao Cup games this term.

Supporters can register for entry in the ballot between 11am on 29 January and 8am on 1 February, with results being sent via email on 7 February.

If successful in the ballot, supporters can purchase tickets between 8.15am on 9 February until 7.30am on 12 February.

The fourth and final announced sale will commence on 13 February and will be available to those unsuccessful in the ballot and placed on the waiting list. If tickets remain, they will be sold on a first-come first-served basis.

For adults, tickets range in price from £41 to £150, while they are significantly cheaper for young adults, children and the over-65s.
