Liverpool have decided to recall Rhys Williams from Swansea City with the defender seeing his spell there come to an end with immediate effect.
The young centre-back played on a handful of occasions last season for the Reds as he and the likes of Nathaniel Phillips helped us out greatly during a period of real strife thanks to injuries to several key defenders.
The plan for Williams this season, then, was to try and build on that with a loan into the Championship but his time at Swansea has come to an end:

Anfield Watch Verdict
This might be the best course of action for Williams.
Swansea play some decent stuff but they're set for a mid-table finish in the Championship at best and it was becoming the case he wasn't playing as much as Liverpool would have liked.
Hopefully we'll see him get a new opportunity to show what he can do soon.
