Liverpool’s kit deal with Nike is due to expire at the end of the season and all signs point to the Reds switching suppliers ahead of the 2025/26 season.

A deal with Adidas has reportedly already been agreed but nothing has been officially announced yet and confirmation of the deal isn’t likely to come until early next year.

Although it isn’t even confirmed that Adidas will be supplying Liverpool’s kits from 2025 onwards, a number of leaks and concept kits have emerged online, and a picture is already starting to form of what the Reds’ kit line up could look like next season.

The German manufacturer had previously supplied Liverpool’s kits from 1985-1996 and also from 2006-2012 and some of the Merseyside club’s most iconic moments have taken place in Adidas kits.

Liverpool’s leaked away kit

Now, details about Liverpool’s first away kit under Adidas have been leaked online, and they've got supporters excited.

X, formerly known as Twitter, user @FumlerRawk (and supported by the ever-reliable Footy Headlines) who’s bio claims they have been “leaking Liverpool kits since 2010”, has revealed that Liverpool’s away kit next season will be an off-white colour officially called ‘Wonder White’.

This colour is reminiscent of Liverpool’s 2021/22 away kit and the Reds’ iconic 1996/97 away shirt produced by Reebok.

Although there’s no confirmation of the exact shade that ‘Wonder White’ will be, @FumlerRawk shared an image of a Mexico national team kit produced by Adidas and fans can expect a similar colour.

Liverpool’s kit supplier history

Liverpool are currently in their fifth season with supplier Nike, their first stint with the manufacturer, and have enjoyed huge financial rewards from this deal, but a deal with Adidas is sure to increase the Reds’ earnings.

Before Nike, Liverpool’s kits were produced by New Balance from 2015-2020 and Warrior from 2012-2015.

This period was preceded by the club’s second stint with Adidas and before that Reebok were the team’s kit manufacturer from 1996-2006.

Liverpool’s first stint with Adidas lasted from 1985-1996 and this followed on from the club’s first official kit supplier Umbro, who produced Liverpool’s kits from 1973-1985.
