The international break is finally coming to an end with many Liverpool fans eagerly waiting the return of the Premier League.
Arne Slot's team has had a fantastic start to the season, sitting in 2nd place in the league with three wins from three matches. However, the momentum from the dominant 3-0 victory over Manchester United was interrupted by the international break, which came at an unfortunate time.
But with Nottingham Forest visiting Anfield next Saturday on the horizon, Slot has already started preparations for the game.

Curtis Jones back in training
According to James Pearce, Curtis Jones has returned to full training ahead of the fixture. The 23-year-old midfielder missed the last two matches prior to the September break due to a minor muscle problem but is said to have now completed his recovery programme.
Pearce also said that new signing Federico Chiesa was also part of Arne Slot’s squad who were put through their paces at Kirkby on Tuesday as he eyes a Liverpool debut.
Chiesa has spent the international break focusing on his fitness, after mutually deciding with Italy head coach Luciano Spalletti that it would be more beneficial for him to stay in Merseyside rather than join the national team.
Darwin Nunez, currently serving a five-match international ban, and Joe Gomez, who wasn’t selected for England, both participated in Tuesday’s session, along with a number of young players, including forward Rio Ngumoha, whose move from Chelsea’s academy was finalised last week.
Ngumoha, could make his debut for Liverpool Under-18s in their home game against Blackburn Rovers on Saturday.
Meanwhile, the South American trio of Alisson, Luis Diaz, and Alexis Mac Allister are expected to be the last to return from international duty, with Slot aiming to have a full squad by Thursday ahead of the game on Saturday.
