Liverpool's exciting loanee was previously lauded by Jurgen Klopp as a 'super talent' and he caught the eye on his loan debut.

This summer saw an exodus of young Liverpool players leave the club both on permanent and temporary deals. In total, 14 Liverpool players have left the club on loan.

Most of them have moved to the Championship, with six of them in total moving to England's second tier in order to taste regular first team football and increase their chances of breaking into Arne Slot's first-team squad.

One of those young players is Owen Beck, who already made his debut for the club under Klopp, and who caught the eye on his debut for his new club.

How Owen Beck caught the eye for Blackburn Rovers

Beck has recently been called into the senior Welsh national team, and he is highly rated by the club. A few years ago, Klopp described the left-back as a super talent while talking to LFCTV as per Manchester Evening News.

"Owen is a super talent, I'm really excited about him," Klopp said.

In the last few years, Beck has been on several loan spells. His latest saw him catch the eye in Scotland's top flight for Dundee FC.

This summer, he moved on loan to Blackburn, a club which recently oversaw the development of Liverpool players like Harvey Elliott and Tyler Morton.

Beck is hoping to follow in their footsteps and he has made the right steps.

The youngster made his debut for the club against Burnley in a fierce derby game and immediately caught the eye, earning rave reviews from Blackburn club reporter, Elliott Jackson, who praised the Liverpool loanee for his defensive contribution in particular.

Liverpool will hope Beck continues to catch the eye. Competition at left-back is fierce, but the club has always valued promoting young talent and if Beck continues to develop, he will always stand a chance of making it in the first team.
