Liverpool make one change as Konate replaces Quansah for Brentford visit
Arne Slot has made one change to his side that defeated Ipswich Town last Saturday.
Ibrahima Konate replaces Jarell Quansah who suffered a knock in training on Tuesday and has since been a doubt for Liverpool's first home game of the new Premier League campaign against Brentford.
Liverpool's starting XI: Alisson, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Ibrahima Konate, Virgil van Dijk, Andy Robertson, Ryan Gravenberch, Alexis Mac Allister, Dominik Szoboszlai, Luis Diaz, Diogo Jota, Mo Salah
Curtis Jones has been ruled out of today's game with a minor injury.

Konate replaced the 21 year-old at half-time last weekend at Portman Road with Slot unimpressed with the lack of duels his side won before the interval.
The substitution was a key talking point after the game with many Liverpool fans impressed with the fearlessness Slot has to make substituions whenever if he believes it will bolster his side's chances of earning all three points.
THE REDS LOOK TO EXTEND WINNING START
Liverpool defeated Premier league newcomers 2-0 courtesy of strikes from Diogo Jota and Mohammed Salah in a very dominant second-half display.
Slot will look to extend on an impressive start to life in the Premier League with another victory as he takes to the Anfield dugout for a first time in a competitive game.
"I do not want to dwell too much on the fact that this will be my first competitive fixture at Anfield in my new role as head coach.
"It goes without saying that this is a big honour for me and also for my staff, but at the same time our only focus will be on the game itself, not on any personal feelings or side issues," Slot said to Liverpool FC.
The Reds will welcome back former players Fabio Carvalho and Sepp van den Berg who both joined Brentford in the last couple of weeks after impressing on Liverpool's USA pre-season tour. Both players are named on Thomas Frank's bench.
